Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and business name.

Enquiry and assessment details: the topic of your enquiry, your answers to our readiness checks and questionnaires, and any calculator results you choose to include.

Client information needed to deliver our services, such as financial records, tax information and company documents, collected under a signed engagement.

Technical information: basic website usage data, and security signals used to protect our forms from automated abuse. Analytics and advertising data is only collected if you agree to it in our cookie banner.

We process personal information with your consent, to take steps towards or perform a contract with you, to comply with the law, or for our legitimate interests in running and securing our practice. You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only where needed: with service providers who host our website and database, deliver our email and protect our forms; with SARS, CIPC and other authorities when we act for you or when the law requires it; and with professional advisers bound by confidentiality.

Some service providers may store information outside South Africa. When this happens we make sure the information is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA, as required by section 72 of the Act.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for as long as needed to follow up, and then deleted. Client records are kept for the periods required by tax, company and professional record-keeping rules.

We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. If we become aware of a security compromise affecting your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

You may ask us whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it, its correction or its deletion. You may object to processing, and you may opt out of marketing at any time.
