Getting started

Do you only work with businesses in Sandton?

No. Our office is in Sandton, and we work with clients in Johannesburg and across South Africa using cloud accounting.

How are your fees worked out?

Fees depend on transaction volumes, staff and payroll, VAT, the number of entities, your systems, how often you need reports and the level of oversight. Our five finance levels start from R5,000 a month.

I'm behind with SARS. Can you still help?

Yes. We start by organising the records, then bring outstanding returns up to date and deal with penalties or debt arrangements where possible.

Do I need an audit or an independent review?

It depends on your company's public interest score and ownership. We'll tell you which applies. Independent reviews are done by our SAICA-accredited partner. Revenue Bridge doesn't do statutory audits.

What's the difference between Financial Watch and Financial Oversight?

Financial Watch is ongoing monitoring of a finance function we run. Financial Oversight is an independent review of a finance function run by others. Neither is an audit or a forensic investigation.

What does Revenue Bridge do?

Revenue Bridge is a Sandton-based accounting, tax and financial management firm. We help established and growing businesses move from basic compliance to financial visibility, stronger control and strategic decision-making, from bookkeeping and SARS compliance to management accounts and outsourced CFO support.

Who do you work with?

Owner-managed and growing businesses, entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals and families with complex private and business interests. Our clients operate across manufacturing, IT, renewable energy, telecommunications, entertainment, real estate, construction, financial services and more.

How do I get started?

Use the Get help now form at the top of this page, or take the Financial Health Check. A consultant reviews every enquiry and comes back to you, usually within one business day. There is no obligation to proceed.

Can you help me get ready to apply for vehicle finance, a home loan or business funding?

Yes. Our Finance Readiness services get your books, tax and company records in order so you can present a complete, consistent picture to a lender. Revenue Bridge is an accounting and tax practice. We are not a registered financial services provider (FSP) or a credit broker, we do not recommend lenders or loan products, and the final credit decision always rests with the lender.

Fees and finance levels

How are your fees calculated?

Your fee reflects the work your finance function genuinely needs: transaction volume, payroll, VAT, number of entities, systems, reporting frequency, cash-flow needs and the level of oversight required. Turnover alone never determines the fee.

What are the finance levels and their starting prices?

Foundation from R5,000 per month, Growth from R12,000 per month, CFO from R36,000 per month and Bespoke from R60,000 per month. Private Finance is priced individually. Prices are indicative entry points, and every engagement is assessed individually.

Is there an onboarding fee?

Where appropriate, a separate onboarding fee covers historical records, system or payroll migration, backlog work, VAT reconciliation and opening financial reviews. It depends on the condition and complexity of your records.

How do I know which level I need?

Take the Financial Health Check. It gives you an indicative finance level, and a person reviews it before we issue a recommendation.

Can I add Financial Watch or Financial Oversight later?

Yes. Financial Watch and Financial Oversight can be added to Foundation, Growth and CFO support as your business grows.

Accounting, tax and financial management

Which services does Revenue Bridge offer?

Cloud accounting and bookkeeping, VAT and SARS compliance, payroll coordination, annual financial statements, management accounts, cash-flow and profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting, outsourced CFO support, Financial Watch, Financial Oversight and Private Client financial management.

What is the difference between Financial Watch and Financial Oversight?

Financial Watch is proactive monitoring of trends, cash flow, margins, debtors, creditors and unusual movements, added to Foundation, Growth or CFO support. Financial Oversight is an independent layer of review for businesses that already have a bookkeeper, accountant or finance team and want deeper visibility and control.

Is Financial Watch a forensic investigation?

No. Financial Watch is proactive monitoring designed to flag risks and control weaknesses early. It is not a criminal investigation or forensic-accounting engagement.

Can you work with our existing bookkeeper or accountant?

Yes. Financial Oversight is designed for businesses with internal bookkeepers, finance teams, external accountants or multiple finance systems. We add review and control without replacing the people you already rely on.

Do I need a full-time CFO?

Not necessarily. Our CFO level gives you senior financial leadership, including strategic planning, modelling, board and investor reporting and funding analysis, without employing a full-time CFO.

Which accounting software do you work with?

We work with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, and we can help migrate your records from spreadsheets or another system.

Financial Health Check

What is the Financial Health Check?

An online assessment of 15 questions about your business, your current finance function and the visibility of your numbers. It gives you an indicative finance level and a Financial Health Score out of 100.

How long does it take?

About three to five minutes.

Is the result final?

No. The result is indicative. A person reviews every recommendation before a final engagement is issued, and your fee is determined by complexity, not turnover alone.

Does it cost anything?

No. The Financial Health Check is free, and there is no obligation to proceed.

What happens after I send my assessment?

Your answers and scores are attached to your enquiry. We review them and reach out, usually within one business day.

A set of accounting, tax and company compliance work that gets your records lender-ready: up-to-date returns, a SARS tax compliance status PIN, current CIPC records, clean books and management accounts, depending on your situation.

Are you a financial services provider or credit broker?

Revenue Bridge is an accounting and tax practice. We are not a registered financial services provider (FSP) or a credit broker, we do not recommend lenders or loan products, and the final credit decision always rests with the lender.

Can you guarantee my loan will be approved?

No. Approval is always the lender's decision. Our role is to make sure your financial records are complete, accurate and consistent.

Do you issue income confirmation letters?

Yes, upon completion and success of an assessment. Terms and conditions apply.

Which readiness checks do you offer?

Vehicle Finance Readiness, Home Loan Readiness, Business Funding Readiness, Business Planning Readiness and Business Finance Planning Readiness. Each page has a free check and calculators.
